Information on all 2024 Competitions

Club Championship

2 best scratch scores from 4 qualifiers. Top 15 + defending Champion play off in Match Play during July 2024.

​

All Players must be able to play within the set dates. Please decline invitation to enter competition if you are unable to do so. Match Secretary can confirm the date ranges for each round.

StrokePlay Championship

2 best scratch scores from 6 qualifiers. Top 11 and Ties along with defending Champion compete over 36 holes with best aggregate score wins.

Singles Handicap Match Play Competition.​

Match Play Singles. Full Hcp difference. All members are added to draw unless requested not to be included

​

Order of Merit

Points system based competition and the player with moth points at end of season will be the winner.

​

Eclectic Competition.

Split into the 2 Hcp Classes. Best score at each hole over the course of the season will be submitted and lowest total score for 18 holes will win respective Class.

Texas Scramble

Competition rules TBC by Match Secretary prior to event.

Bobby Gold Trophy

3 Player Tri-am competition. Teams can be pre-arranged

​

Scott Trophy

2 player team. Winners will have lowest aggregate net score, arrange your own partner or leave it to the pro shop.

 

Over 60’s 12 Hole Challenge

Open to members aged 60 and over on 01st Jan 2024.

Winners will have best Stableford adjustment net score through 12 holes.

 

NOTICES

Match Play Competitions.

The Committee would urge all members to actively participate in these competitions.

​

While the TOP name is the Challenger, BOTH players are responsible for arranging the tie however the bottom name(s) will be put forward to the next round should the date pass without our Match Secretary receiving any correspondence. Minimum requirement is that the Challenger offers 2 midweek and 1 weekend date for the tie to be completed. If members have any problems arranging a tie, please contact the Match Secretary at the earliest convenience.

 

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER ANY MATCHPLAY EVENT IF YOU CAN NOT PLAY ON FINALS DAY.

The Match Secretary’s decision will be final in any dispute.

​

Early/Late Starts

All early and late starts are at the Match Secretaries discretion. No Early/Late starts given without permission.

A maximum of three players are permitted for early starts.

​

Dress Code

Tracksuits, jeans, trainers, collarless/sleeveless shirts and football shirts are not permitted. Shorts may be worn but must be tailored.

 

Tee Booking – Medal Play

Tee times for Medal will now be made available via the Howdidido App / Desktop Site. Bookings will open at 7am on the Sunday morning for the Saturday ahead. Online booking will close on the Thursday at 15.00pm. Any member unable to book via Howdidido can contact the Match Secretary to be booked in.

WHEN REPORTING TO PRO SHOP, ALL MEMBERS MUST PROVIDE SEASON TICKET NUMBER OR PAY RELEVANT GREEN FEE TO THE STARTER. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN COMMITTEE ACTION.
